Lanier & Associates provided engineering and construction management for the 2002 waterfront expansion which was part of the $30 million upgrade of the grain terminal. The new system included a continuous barge unloader, high efficiency dust control system, continuous weighing scale and automatic grain sampler. The upgrade yielded an 85% increase in the unloading rate. Our current project at this Bungee location consists of upgrading inbound and outbound conveying systems to a new marine facility. This will increase throughput capacity while reducing dust emission. Lanier also provides ongoing inspections, repairs and facility modifications.
